Writing Wk 3 Term 1 2021

 Kia ora.

We are learning that Basic Punctuation means that you have a capital letter at the start of a sentence, and a full stop, question mark or exclamation mark at the end of every sentence when you do a piece of writing. Here is my acrostic poem

G great garden

A and insects

R red and yellow ah my favorite colours

D dear butterfly

E ends his flying

N near your house

  1. I love your poem, Brody because it shows how much you love nature.

  2. Also, you have a capital letter at the beginning of each line which looks good as this is an acrostic poem and that is how they are organised. You don't need full stops at the end of each line because most of your lines are not complete sentences. However, you should have a full stop after colours as that line is a complete sentence. You could also have a full stop after house because if you read the last 3 lines, they would fit together to make a complete sentence.
